Uptown Oktoberfest planned for Sept. 22 at various venues

Celebrate the return of fall with an all-day and all-night Oktoberfest Celebration Saturday, Sept. 22 throughout Uptown Greenville!

Stroll the central business district on a self-guided tour of local breweries, roasteries, and eateries to enjoy new German-style beer releases, traditional German food, live music, and activities.

According to details provided by the Greenville-Pitt County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the five stops on the Uptown Oktoberfest map are:

Saturday Hours: 7 am – 10 pm

Blackbeard is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a full day of activities:

* 7:30 am: Yoga on the Patio

* 9 am: Roasting Basics

* 10 am – 2 pm: Pop-Up Vendors

* 10 am – 1:30 pm Pour Over Basics and Practice

* 11 am – 2 pm: Jamerican Hotdogs

* Noon – 2 pm: Live music with Mandy Mears

* 1:30 pm: Coffee Cupping

* 3 pm: Tie-Dye a Blackbeard Shirt (limited quantity, reserve in shop for $15)

* 7 pm – 9 pm: Birthday Cake and live music with Sometimes Lions

On Tap: New recipe German-style Hay Chaser Kölsch

* Noon – 3 pm & 5 pm – 11 pm: The Rock Food Truck serving up an German themed menu including bratwursts, schnitzel, pretzels, and more

* 5 pm – 10 pm: The ECU German Club dressed in lederhosen and dirndl will be selling cookies to raise funds for scholarships and teaching people how to dance the polka
