DH Conley cross country boys finish second in Friday Night Lights Invitational

The DH Conley Boys Cross Country team earned second place in Friday Night Lights Invitational in Kernersville, NC on Sept. 7.

Forty teams from around the state competed in the event, with Charlotte-area school Marvin Ridge taking top honors.

AJ Miller (6th, 17:17) and Peyton Walters (15th, 17:49) led the Vikings, but it was the tight pack of Owen Thorndike (34th, 18:19), Toby Bryson (39th, 18:21) and Jalen Wilson (40th, 18:21) that pulled Conley to the high finish.
