Greenville 13u All Stars open World Series with big win

The Greenville 13u Babe Ruth All Stars needed only five innings to win their opening game 16-0 against Harrison, Ark., at the 2018 13u Babe Ruth World Series in Mountain Home, Ark.
Greenville starting pitcher Tyler Bonds picked up the win by pitching two scoreless innings and striking out five Harrison batters while giving up only one hit.
Cam Greenway led the Greenville offense with three hits, and Mitch Jones and Owen Boyd each had two hits as a part of Greenville's 12-hit offensive output.
Greenville returns to action Friday at 2:30 p.m. when they will face the Pacific Northwest champion, West Linn, Ore.
