Brittany Rawls, Buzzworthy artist
Greenville's Brittany Rawls, 28, is a full-time artist who creates commissioned work for clients.
Her canvases include abstracts, pet portraits, florals, watercolor maps, and "love story" art featuring depictions of locations that are important to a couple. She also creates paintings from submitted photographs and paints on-site at weddings and other live events.
Her paintings and prints are available at It's Sew Wright, 801 Red Banks Road in Arlington Village shops. Little Creek Market at 4428 Lewis Store Road in Farmville and the East Carolina Artspace gallery at 3747 South Main St. in Farmville sell a few of her giclees, cards, and paintings, and Cecil + Finch in Atlantic Beach and Charlotte carries her abstracts.

Family: Anka, a white German Shepherd (I take her everywhere I go!), and my mom and dad, Karen and Teen Rawls. Dad is a pilot, and I am always ready to hop on a plane with him when I get the chance! He took me on my first mission trip to Nicaragua when I was 12, and I haven’t been able to stop traveling since.

Are you involved with something new that you would like the readers to know about: I'm sending artwork to SCORE International's Lily House in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic. I can’t say enough wonderful things about that ministry and the leaders involved.
