Greenville's Mary Grace Flowers, 15, recently created a coloring book for the North Carolina Estuarium environmental center as part of her Girl Scout Silver Award.
The Estaurium us at 223 E. Water St., Washington, NC.
According to a post on the Estuarium's Facebook page, "These (coloring) books have 11 drawings about the estuary for coloring in and a word search perfect for kids in elementary grades.
"Mary Grace did all the artwork and research entirely on her own!
"We are extremely honored that she chose the Estuarium for her Silver Award project and excited to start getting them into children's hands."

My heroes are: My hero is my aunt Shelby. She is also now my guardian angel. She was a breast cancer survivor and I want to be as kind a person as she was. Jesus is also my hero because he has saved me.
Are you involved with something new that you would like the readers to know about: I am going to try competitive swimming for my school for the first time this winter.
My favorite things: Volleyball, the beach, the mountains and Jesus.
Favorite place in the 252 for a bite to eat and what I order: I really love La Rancherita. It's an amazing Mexican restaurant in Wilson.
2 things that inspire me:
* My mom
* My dad
They sacrifice so much for me and my brother. I look up to them so much and I hope to grow up to be as good a person as they each are.
5 things on my bucket list:
1. Go on a mission trip.
2. Hike the Inca trail.
3. Run a marathon.
4. Travel to at least 50 different countries.
5. See the Northern Lights.
2 reasons I like living in the 252:
* I like that the beach and my home are both in the 252.
* Most of my family lives in the 252.
