Area farms offer fall fun

Area farms have planted pumpkins, carved out corn mazes and scared up some hauntingly fun happenings for Halloween.

Here's where to go in the Greenville area for some down-on-the-farm fun this week.

Hours: 4-7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

Brock's is hosting scheduled field trips, church groups and other groups for the corn maze, animal visits, hayride and pumpkin picking by appointment only at this time. Message the farm to schedule a group.

Pumpkins and sunflowers for sale, hayrides, kiddie corn maze, homemade pumpkin spice ice cream. The farm closes for the season Nov. 1.

Pumpkins and ornamental gourds, farm animals Second annual Trunk or Treat event will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. The event is free. Barbecue plates and hot dogs will be available for purchase. Tickets for the animal train ride are $1.

A Scaryoke competition on Oct. 31 includes costume and singing competitions with prizes.
