The second Dickinson Avenue After Dark event, billed by organizers as "the quirkiest beer festival around," will be held from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 on Eighth Street in the Dickinson Avenue business corridor in Uptown Greenville.
The outdoor event is hosted by the Pitt County AIDS Service Organization (PiCASO) and the nonprofit Uptown Greenville city center revitalization organization.
Eastern North Carolina beer crafters will offer their brews in both tasting sizes and full-size draft sizes. Participating brewers will include 217 Brew Works, Mother Earth Brewing, Pitt Street Brewing, Tarboro Brewing Company, The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery, Trollingwood Taproom & Brewery, Uptown Brewing Company, Seven Pines Vineyard and Winery, and Fishing Creek Cider Company.
Food will be for sale from a number of local food trucks including Fully Loaded Fritters, Gwendy’s Goodies artisan pretzels, Jamerican Hot Dogs, Patty Cakes, Shep’s Farm to Truck, and Smash Waffles.
Music will be presented by DJ Cuttystyles.
Live performances from Imagine Circus will include fire breathers and LED hoopers.
There also will be a photo booth courtesy of Knee Deep Adventures.
