Bar-B-Grooves will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at the Town Common, the city park at 100 E. First St. along the Tar River in downtown Greenville.

The festival includes a pork barbecue competition and a turkey barbecue contest. The winner will be awarded a cash prize and trophy. The public will be able to sample the barbecue, at no charge.
Kids' activities and inflatables will be available.
There also will be vendors and street food and grog for purchase.
