Four Beach Music party bands will hit the stage at the Pitt County Fairgrounds Saturday, April 29 for the 19th annual Triangle Beach Music Festival Greenville.
The outdoor festival, billed by its organizers as "the official kickoff party of the summer," has been held for the past 17 years in the Wake County town of Garner. In 2016, it moved to the Pitt County Fairgrounds, 3901 N.E. Greenville Blvd.
This year's lineup includes Jim Quick & Coastline, Backyard Groove, Black Water Rhythm and Blues and Band of Oz, a party band formed by members of the Stage Band at Greenville's J.H. Rose High School in the mid-1960s that has become one of beach music's premier bands.
Festival-goers may bring lawn chairs and coolers (no glass bottles allowed).
Food vendors will be on site all day, including Toookie's Grill, The Wacky Tomatoe, The 13th Taco and Cocoa Forte.
Parking lots open at 10 a.m. and the concert begins at 11:15 a.m.
Advance general admission tickets are $20 and may be purchased at www.trianglebeach.com.
