Footgolf tourney will benefit local Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina will hold its first Chipping for a Chance Footgolf Tournament from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at Bradford Creek Golf Course, 4950 Old Pactolus Road, Greenville. Footgolf, a new and increasingly popular sport in the Greenville area, is a hybrid of soccer and golf. It's played on a golf course with the same basic rules as golf, but instead of using a golf ball and club, players kick a soccer ball into a larger hole. Player registration is $30, $120 for a team of 4. Click here for a player registration form.

Fax the completed form to fax it to 252-847-2229. For information on playing in the tournament or being a sponsor, call Hannah Caton at 847-5435. The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina, 529 Moye Blvd., provides a home-away-from-home for families of children who are receiving treatment in our community's medical facilities.
