East Carolina University's football team will play seven home games in Greenvile's Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for the first time in school history, according to the 2017 schedule released today.
And every game will be held on a Saturday -- no Thursday night match-ups!
The Pirates, led by Coach Scottie Montgomery for the second year, will take on nine postseason qualifiers.
"We are thankful and blessed to be in a position to compete in front of Pirate Nation on at least seven occasions, which will play a critically supportive role as it always does," Montgomery said in a press release. "We'll come out of the gate ready to go."
Season tickets are on sale online, by phone at 252-737-4500 or at the ECU ticket box office beside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Priority seating deadline is April 1.
