Do you think you've got an award-winning chili recipe? Do you love to eat chili? Do you want to help raise money to find a cure for ALS?
The 7th annual Heat to Defeat ALS Chili Cookoff will be held Feb. 12 at Christy's Euro Pub, corner of Third and Jarvis streets in Greenville.
Competitors will pay $20 to enter their chilis. The competition begins at 3 p.m. Awards will be given for Hottest Chili, Best Veggie Chili and Best Overall Chili.
You can taste chili samples for an $8 fee. Tasting begins at 4 p.m.
All proceeds will go to the North Carolina's Catfish Hunter Chapter of the ALS Association.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder.
