Library used book sale set
The annual Friends of Sheppard Memorial Library Used Book Sale will be held Feb. 3-5 at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 S.W. Greenville Blvd. Donated books and used books from the library will be available for purchase. Hours for the sale will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 3, 9 a.m.to 6 p.m. Feb. 4, and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 5. A members-only preview sale for Friends of the Sheppard Memorial Library will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 2. Memberships may be purchased or renewed at the event. Everything will be priced at $5 or less. A Bag Day Sale will be held on Feb. 5., where patrons may fill a bag with books and pay only $5. There is no entrance fee. The sale raises money to help support the library's programs, materials and operations. The 2016 used book sale exceeded $32,000 in gross sales.
