It's been 30 years -- 30 years! -- since the romantic dance drama starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey was released. With its great music and choreographed dancing, it's become a classic.
And parts of it were filmed at North Carolina's Lake Lure.
"Dirty Dancing" will be shown at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Jan. 29 and Feb. 1 at the Greenville Grande Stadium 14 movie theater, 750 S.W. Greenville Blvd.
The 30th anniversary presentation from Fathom Events and Lionsgate will include a 15-minute sneak peek of the new special feature “Happy 30th Birthday, Dirty Dancing,” from the film's upcoming 30th Anniversary home entertainment release.
